The Virginia Club of New York is comprised of alumni from all walks of life. In order to best reach our entire alumni population, we have created committees that serve as valuable resources in planning events, researching programming ideas, and shaping the Club’s agenda.
The Virginia Club of New York strongly encourages its members – whether social or clubhouse – to join a committee and get involved! The Events Calendar on our website includes the most up-to-date meeting times/locations. Please email email@example.com or call us at 212-716-2142 if you would like to join any of our committees.
Committee meets quarterly and participates in admissions related activities and events throughout the year, including: the Admissions Panel, Congrats Calls, the Admitted Student Ice Cream Social, and the Student Send-Off Party.
This committee strives to provide UVA alums with diverse volunteer opportunities throughout the year. This committee plans a monthly volunteer outing with a local organization, as well as a monthly outing to the University Soup Kitchen in the East Village.
