Affinity Interest Groups

The Virginia Club serves as a central liaison in connecting the Virginia Club to U.Va. affinity groups for the purposes of supporting philanthropic, professional development, and social endeavors in the greater NYC community. Please see below for more information on our current affinity groups.

Finance Networking Committee

The Virginia Club is currently in the process of scheduling industry-specific receptions within the financial sector. These will be designed as social encounters where individuals can meet other NYC-based Wahoos, grow their network, and share best practices as they relate to their business and career. To maximize the success of these events the Club is collecting information on UVA grads working in finance. Please fill out our 2017 survey to participate!

Hoos in Media

Hoos in Media is a social group for UVa alumni in Media, Theater, and Entertainment. For more information, please email Matt Paco. Be sure to join the Facebook Page as well.

Be sure to join their NYC Facebook Page to find out more about this group and get involved!
